Good sleep is one of the ways to help restore energy. Apart from this, here are a few foods and drinks that can help those fasting stay energised throughout the day.

1) Water

Staying hydrated during the days of fasting is helpful. Regularly drink water to prevent dehydration.

2) Nuts, seeds and dry fruits

Nuts, seeds and dry fruits can help restore your energy on days of fasting. These foods contain calories and are high in protein and fatty acids. To sum it up, these foods boost the energy levels in your body.

3) Bananas

Eating food that is rich in potassium is a great way to prevent fatigue and exhaustion. Bananas are a great source of potassium. They are also rich in vitamin B6. As a result, consuming bananas helps to restore energy during Navratri.

4) Sabudana

Sabudana is usually an integral part of fasting days. And, it has a reason. It has good fibre content. That’s why it is a filling food. Also, it stays in the stomach for a longer time. It also maintains blood pressure levels and prevents digestive problems.

5) Eat frequently

Eat small meals but increase the number of times you have them. Try to keep the gap between your meals small. In this way, you keep a regular flow of energy into your body.
